I have been extremely busy lately and I know I always use that
excuse, but I'm working on an actual product line for my store and
I've been working on my Fairytales art jewelry collection. I've
posted them already on my FB but I'm posting them on my blog too
since I decided I'm not going to use FB that much. This particular
piece was inspired from The Sleeping Beauty story but I wanted to
give it a little twist so I decided I would make it in a biopunk
and cyberpunk style with Sleeping Beauty hooked up to machines that
feed off her dreams. The theme can be quite dark but I've used
playful colors to suggest the dreaming state she is in so the
necklace didn't turn out too uncomfortably dark.
I've already done other characters but I'm pretty stuck with
Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. I wish I could add some dark
themes to those but I've been trying to figure out what exactly to
add.
Besides that, as I mentioned earlier, I've been working on a
product like and I'm really excited about that. They are in the
same style I do but it's more of a series of products people can
customize before they order. That's mostly because I want to offer
the best of the best but also because I feel like my store and what
I offer is all over the place without a cohesive theme, other than,
I don't know, whimsical.
