In this article I will present a method to streamline 2D scrolling menus and applications in devices with older or weaker specifications. 2D applications are those in the form of the page, on which you can scroll through web browsers for example. The system is Android factory set to use 2D processor to scroll pages. This setting works best on all Android devices and the best I refer to a balance between power consumption and processing speed. In some cases, transferring tasks to the 2D GPU (Graphic Processing Unit - GPU) can streamline menus and 2D applications, leaving CPU other tasks. This setting really makes rapid drop but presents a disadvantage, forcing 2D GPU rendering applications will lead to higher energy consumption.
