I still remember the first time i started to read this series.I was excited-because it was something new,i was a little unsure-because i didn't know what i will find,butat the same time i was 100% sure that it will be something that will become my favorite.And it is,i'm not lying.
Now after reading the Origin i can't believe how much this series evolved and how everything transformed into something so good,brilliant and epic.
Well,so far i was shocked and left speechless to many times by what i've read ,but now?I don't have words to describe what i'm feeling right now,especially after i've read how this book ended.It was pretty crazy and intense,something that i never expected,even if it is the second time when i read this book.Yeah,it took me by surprise and i can honestly say that it was like i've read this book for the first time.
This time Katy's life is in danger,real danger,something that drives Daemon insane and makes him risk everything,especially his life.Being caught by Daedalus makes Katy realise that horrible things happen to those who end up there,but at the same time she finds out a secret that nobody knew,about Daedalus secret weapon and why they wanted Daemon so bad.And,finally,what really happened to Beth and Dawson there.
But what if those things make Katy more determined to help the luxens?What if ,despite all the things she has been through ,Katy will never stop fighting against Daedalus?But..What if something horrible happens and Katy ,Daemon and the rest end up doing exactly what they never wanted to do-separate?
This book was full of surprises!From the beginning until the end i couldn't stop myself from thinking about every single crazy thing that could happen,especially when i knew that Kat was at Daedalus.It was pretty intense and i liked the fact that it was full of action from the beginning.
Yes,i did not like what was happening to Kat while she was a prisoner,but holy heck everything changed from the moment Daemon stepped into that building.Intense?Yes.Crazy?Double Yes.Te best thing that could have happen?Holy yes!
Every chapter was intense and full of ups and downs.In each chapter something new and crazy happened,especially when Daemon was present.Intense guy,but heck i liked the way he was protecting Katy.And Katy?Her character evolved so much.She wasn't the same girl i've read about in the first book.She was stronger,determined to do everything in her power to protect Daemon and the people who she loved.It was fun to read about everything she had to to,but i hated those moments when ,practically,she was tortured in that horrible building.
Why everything was so intense?Because Daemon was capable of doing everything in his powers to save Katy,even if that meant he had to burn the entire world for her.
Another thing that i liked reading about?Beth and Dawson.They were so cute and adorable.Yet i have to admit that Beth's attitude was a little strange.And Dawson?He turned into another person,one who was happier and...I don't know..His transformation was a good one,one that i appreciate very much,still Daemon is my favorite.
Dee?After everything that happened, i am happy to say that a little part of the old Dee was back.From the beginning i liked her bubbly,happy and lets-all-be-friends-and-love-each-other attitude,even if a little part of her changed forever because of what happened to Adam in Onyx.
Archer and Luc.Those guys were two characters that took me by surprise.Even if i've read about Luc in Opal,i have to say that i'm a little surprised by his attitude and everything he was doing.Hybrid or not,Luc was a child who was acting like an adult.It was funny,especially when he was making fun of everyone.Archer?So far,he is a mystery to me.Origin or not,it was little strange how good he could pretend that he was a powerfull being that could destroy everything in an blink of an eye.Yet,i liked him,even if at first i didn't trust him at all.
The Thompsons?Well,i never liked them,especially Ash,but i didn't want anything bad to happen to them.Yet,here i am trying to understand what the heck really happened with them.
Betrayal.Well,that i did expect.I'm not sure why,but when it comes to books like this one i always expect something huge to happen,something that a character that was close to the main characters to do.Something huge,horrible and unforgivan.Yes ,i hate it.Yes,i didn't expect it like this,because after all that character was a part of this from the beginning.But,no,i wouldn't change a thing.
Step by step,everything changed.This story changed so much and i enjoyed reading it so far,especially when i got the chance to read about how much the characters evolved,even if their lifes turned upside down more then everything.But now,after reading the ending of this book,my head is full of questions:what will happen next?what the heck happened to Daemon,Dawson and Dee?
