It's Friday again and we are already checking out new
locations that we can visit, last weekend Geierley - a suspended
rope bridge in Moersdorf was our pick and I must say it was
amazing!
Opened only in October 2015, Geierlay is Germany’s longest
suspension bridge, and it makes for a wonderful day out in the
stunning German countryside! The suspension bridge is 360m long and
100m high, and I find that even if it was a bit colder the perfect
time to visit it is in fall! Nature's colours in autumn are
breath-taking and the views are amazing, so be prepared to stop all
the time along the way to stop & stare at this magical place!
As we arrived in Moersdorf, we parked our car at one of the
available parking spots, we used the one neat to the Visitor
Center, take into consideration that from here on you'll have to
walk 1,7 km and there are no toilets near to the bridge so do use
the toilets available at the Visitor Center, they also have a
restaurant there!
But I'll let you enjoy more of from the pictures & if you
wanna visit this wonderful place, here you have their website:
