Autumn has come again,
around the corner, tip toeing,
wearing big
Bright orange smiles
Laughing on a windy Sunday,
Spreading the fresh smell of rain.
The leaves are paving all the roads
– that do lead somewhere
And for some moments
You can see people
Stopping from whatever they are doing
Just to look up, stare at the trees in the sky,
At the infinite waves of colors,
And get lost.
At that point, people are blending
In the nature scene
They are no longer conquerers –
But truly conquered
By all the beauty there is.
Sunsets sleep on humans’ eyes
And we count each moment with every blessing
We remember each sunrise by what we end the day with
And if a falling leaf would be
The last thing to caress my face
So be it
The love of nature is enough
To grab all that emptiness inside
And if we don’t have eyes to see this every day
Damn, no wonder we feel broken all the time
Like something is always missing
Like nothing is enough
Whoever taugh us to only live and run in circles…
Damn you!
Damn you and your patterns,
With your already-made ideas.
Damn you all for letting us sink too much in ourselves…
when there is so much out there.
