The first, by Roman Soloviy, is titled The Church Amidst the War of Attrition: Ukrainian Evangelical Community in Search of a New Mission Paradigm.
The second, by Melanie C Ross, is The 1977 Chicago Call: Debating Evangelical Identity.
Religions has published previously two other articles written by myself and my friend Danut Jemna, for two other spacial issues of the journal. I both we try to combine dr. Jemna’s expertise in Patristics and my interest in contemporary theology, including Orthodoxy, evangelicalism, ecclesiology, and ecumenism.
The first of these articles, published in 2021, was titled When the Gap between Academic Theology and the Church Makes Possible the Orthodox–Evangelical Dialogue.
The second, published in 2023, was titled Reimagining Ecumenism for the 21st Century – Stăniloae’s Theology as a Source and Inspiration.
